“Firstly, well done to you, Karen, I can hand on my heart say we achieved the goal of making me a more robust athlete! I knew before the big day that the hydration, jelly babies and the whole nutrition plan were working, but it was great to finally get to test them out at the London marathon.
Unfortunately, despite my efforts of icing and taking painkillers just before the start of the race my troublesome leg kicked off at the half marathon point and prevented me from being able to stride properly. It was very frustrating as the energy tank was full and raring to go but I just couldn’t use it! I managed to finish the race but did not get the time I’d hoped for, and ended up finishing in 3.16
Obviously I’m disappointed, but equally can not believe just how well I felt compared to last time. Your nutrition advice has made so much difference, and I’m so grateful for that. I only wish I could have got a time to show just how much difference it makes. I’m seriously thinking of running the Cardiff marathon in October. Once again many thanks ”
